Just maybe they are starting to realise how far behind everyone else this place is!
Since they just started discussing it we can expect a law to be passed in the next 5 years, the SC to rule on if it is constitutional 5 years after that, wait another 5 years for the executive branch to enforce the law and another 5 years for the ISPs to become compliant. So expect to see something done in no less than 20 years from now.....which by then the PI will be so behind the rest of the world again the process will need to be started over. Rinse, wash, repeat.

Most of the time our globe works well now we have added another router to their piece of crap, we subscribe to the 5 meg service and usually get around 4.6-4.9 meg.
Not lucky mate, just sound advise from a friend who knows about this stuff, I'm sure you know my personal views about those idiots!
That's what we are on, but only getting .5 to 1.5 at best and only one bar shows up on modem. That's hard wired.
