    Jack,

We really appreciated you and your lovely wife's hospitality yesterday. It is always great to chew the fat over a few cold ones; plus our wives seem to enjoy their girl talk.

It was nice to see Midnight again as it has been awhile. I don't know if she remembers us our not but she was such an affectionate dog. Shadow will be a great addition to the family.

Today a female and male went out to new homes, the two other females have found their homes, just waiting for them to be picked up. We have a female that has an injury to her mouth, she has been claimed but will not let her go until we know she will be OK; hopefully the vet checks her out on Monday; we will not let her go out until she has a clean bill of health as it would not be responsible.

Our last pup is a male, he is going to be a big boy; I won't let him go until they see his big brother ":Romo"...folks need an idea on how big he will be.

Here are some pics from the owners of one of our pups, obviously they are spoiling the boy big time. It was nice of them to share as well as updates on how he is doing.

The vet came by this morning to check the girl out, she also has a wound on her tongue but he said everything is healing well. Her injury came from chewing into an electrical cord, doubt she'll do that again. We are using hydrogen peroxide as well as a couple different topical ointments. You would never notice seeing how she eats, drinks and plays; but I will still give it a week before we let her go to her new home.

The pup with the wound is doing much better, taking her topical meds without too much anxiety. We actually talked about keeping her, but we agreed to let her go to a family that will want her and love her so it would not be cool to go back on that; she is a sweet girl and will be a great part of the family. Her injuries are healing so falls on the wife to decide when she is ready to go.

We still have a male that we thought was going to a new home, no response lately so he is up for a new home. He is the biggest of our pups and still a sweet guy, reminds me of Romo. If someone cannot take him into a new home I will keep him (depending on Cherry); I want to keep him, he is cool.

Hi Shawn - This is Barry from up the hill in Valencia - I think we may have been in contact a while back when I was trying to source a particular brand of food for my two bullmasadors. I have a NZ pal up in San Carlos who is looking for a family pet (male) who will also be a useful watch dog / deterrent for the local ne'er do wells up there. He was initially hoping for a mastiff- lab cross like our boys but none are available at present. Then I remembered your malinois cross from the above posts. Have you any still available. The dog would not be chained and would have the run of a 700+square meter garden. Be grateful for any update in this regard! Cheers - Barry
