Good news Davy and a nice touch for the start of the day Cartainly Great for the Expat if they stick to what they tell us, It is not the first UK company to Try it as ASDA tried it some years ago. Mainly in Hong Kong, Spain and India. They pulled out of HK on the Handover.
Main Problem is if SM decide to restrict Imports ( well the Food Agency) of things that we would normally find on a TESCO shelf and Certainly the Frozen Side ICELAND this is where Spain and India fell down for them.
A good Move for Tesco in the main but I will not Hold my Breath on this being anywhere near what we would expect.

Maybe if we can get enough people one of us could go up there and send a few boxes of stuff back here! Biological washing powder would be a good one for a start as for some reason you cannot buy it here and those pickled onions are looking good also!

They do home delivery back home so don't see why not here, and if you spend more than 50 quid it's free delivery  I'm sure I have seen beetroot in UK mart a while ago and only last week saw whole beetroot in one of the stores.

Ah OK so the shop is in the Diner?

This is an Odd one here of course, although a great UK Name, it will be run as a Filipino Franchise within an SM, I would imagine.

In all the 2.5 Million p I have Spent on this Place I have only every had 2 (Two) Free delivery company's That is AM Builders Merchants on the North Highway by Cangs (Also near Robinson's Place as well) & YY for cement over 50 bags and Steel over 5.000peso the rest I have had to pay Delivery for So again I will not Hold my Breath on any Free delivery, if they start deliveries at all. Of course we may be wrong in that they will come to understand that to win a Brits Heart, do it the Brit way if you are going to invite a Brit Company aboard your business But...................................:jawdrop: I am sure our US members would feel the same way about Walmart
