Can anyone help me with any information on International Schools in Dumaguette? My wife, daughter and I are moving from the United States to Dumaguette with our 7 year old daughter and want to send her to an English speaking private International school. Estimated costs per year? names of schools and reputation? transportation? Thank you for any and all help. We will be arriving after the 1st of the year in 2016.

One International School in Dauin is an accredited English school. My boy went there for 2 years of preschool and it met all of our expectations. The cost for a 7 yr. old this past year was about 240,000 pesos annually. They offer, at a cost, a van service from the mall. They are on summer vacation now. Their website is:
    oneinternationalschool.com - Welcome
Another school alternative is Don Bosco - St. Louis school, a part of the Don Bosco international program. It is a Catholic school preschool through high school, cost around 30,000 pesos annually.
Another Catholic school next to Don Bosco is Cittidini, around the same cost. Both schools have buses.
    Good luck.

We got our kids in SIMON, international Montessori school in Dumaguete. Go towards the airport and turn left on the last road before city limit. About 200m up the road on the left hand side.

Would you know by chance if it is allowed to enroll your child mid term or any term during the school year? Or just the beginning of the school year/ Another words if we arrive after the New Year in January 2016 will my child be eligble to enter school via a transfer from her school here in The United states Of America?

Don Bosco costs around 30,000p annually. One International takes students in during the year but probably prefers when a term starts up. Last year Term 1 started Sept. 8, Term 2 Jan. 5, Term 3 Apr. 20.

No but we pay 45k per kid in SIMON.
This is a non religious school, which I value high.

My step-daughter went to Don Bosco. Her Maths, English and Science were very good (for the Phils).
She was not adversely affected by the religious element.
One thing I liked was she had a daily diary basically about what was taught on any given day.
If she was late for class or absent or any other derogatory remark her mother had to sign acknowledging the problem.

Could you please give me the website address or any numbers or e-mails for Don Bosco and the annual cost for tuition? One International responded back to me with a 260,000 peso annual tuition rate which seems very expensive and not in my budget. Thank You very much!
