Harry William Hansen, of unknown origin, fell into a 2-foot deep hole when the platform he was standing on gave way. Hansen arrived on board Philippine Airlines flight PR 307 from Hong Kong and was on his way to the immigration counter when the tiled floor he was standing on collapsed. The incident happened on July 25th, but airport officials have now just reported this past Wednesday. Hansen was extracted from the hole by airport workers – he is said to have not sustained any injuries in the mishap. Airport employees took the photograph of the hole where Hansen fell into – the shoddy workmanship to the flooring and many other aspects of NAIA have come into question in recent years.
