new barber shop

I went by Richard's, behind Lee Plaza, to find it "permanently closed". A posting there recommends a place on Silliman Ave., but that turns out to be a unisex spa. Is there an old-fashioned man's barber shop downtown? Sadly, it may be that many young men and boys' perferred styles nowadays lend themselves to unisex treatment, rendering barber shops unprofitable.

Reading this makes me want to learn to become a barber... hmmmm

 

There's a shop on the north highway next to a gasoline station that starts with a G, can't remember the name.
There is a crippled guy with bad arms and hands, it's a little scary when he comes at you with the scissors and the straight razor but he does a very good job. I still have both ears..
