This is starting to get to me. Since I have been back there has been, on average, only a couple hours a day of water. I have had basically no water the last two days. I've been given the excuse that are working on the water lines but I'm starting to not give a sh*t about excuses. Anyone else have this problem or know when this crap is going to be fixed?

BTW I'm heading to Bayawan today for a couple days to escape this nonsense and have a nice long, and hot, shower.

It's pretty well know if it rains heavy they turn the water off to stop sand blocking the filters up. We ain't had no rain much lately so must be far worse!

Yeah, I have no problem with that and I'm quite used to it. This no water for weeks on end is complete BS. It's really not even the lack of water either. If I wanted to live like a local and take baths out of buckets I would pay rent like a local.

As always, more fun in the Philippines. Well, living in Valencia gives inhabitants the advantage to enjoy a discount on their electricity bill; right?!
In life you cannot have all.....nice, cool temperature, discounted electricity bill!!
A bit joking and teasing of course as a non inhabitant of Valencia suffering the high temperature on a sea levelled barangay heheh...where water is available to fill up swimming pools as many as you like.

No, they stopped doing that a couple years ago. Municipalities no longer get anything for electricity being produced in their area. They also get no mineral rights for mining operations. Guess who paid off the politicians.

Why not build some water storage facility, it costs very little to build a 25 cubic meter storage tank with hollow blocks finished with water proof cement then you have water for best part of a month.

    Because I rent......

I do have a water tank dedicated to me but it doesn't put off enough pressure to take hot showers and doesn't last very long....mainly because I need a one-way valve put on the water line so that all the contents of my tank don't go back up the line and feed the neighbors). But then again....I rent. :wacky: I can only make suggestions.

To ensure a constant supply with enough pressure to activate the water heater, you probably need storage tank, pump and pressure tank. We have 1500ltr storage tank and have never run out yet. Total cost for our system would be about P 30000.
