I SAW THAT STORY ONLINE A COUPLE YEARS AGO!! IT TURNS OUT THEY DO TEAR OUT THE PAGE WHEN NOBODY IS LOOKING, AND GIVES IT BACK TO YOU!! NO ONE EVER CHECKS THEIR PASSPORT, AND THEN THEY CAN NOT GET INTO THE DESTINATION COUNTRY!! YOU END UP IN A POLICE MATTER FOR HAVING A PAGE RIPPED OUT OF YOUR PASSPORT!! IT SEEM TO BE A CROOKED RING OF WEIRD PEOPLE IN ALOT OF AIRPORT CUSTOM TERMINALS!! GOOD THING YOU LOOKED UP WHEN YOU DID!!

Maybe I'm just stupid, but I still don't understand how a Filipino immigrations officer at NAIA makes any money by simply tearing out a page in the traveler's (foreigners) passport prior to his depature from the Phi;ippines. I don't have a clue !
