    Has anyone noticed how long it takes to load pages on this forum lately?

    Since I live in Dumaguete, I understand the slow internet speed here (my download is only 5.0 Mbps) ... but this forum loads much much slower than other websites and message boards I go to.

    Some pages even 'time-out' sometimes before they load.

    5 mbs HUH! most of us are on .87 some days but yes it can be very Slow

    I haven't had problem loading up pages on the forum. I'll run some tests on the server once I get an internet connection again.

    Not using slow servers here. Did this just start happening? How long have you noticed the forum being slow?

    I do backups a couple times a week and this slows down the forum for about an hour during the backup. (Saturday is one of the days it does a backup.)

    Do you use a VPN/proxy for web browsing?

    I'm on Smart LTE, I average 5 to 10 mbps most of the time. Di opens very fast on my pc but a little slow on my android phone.
