Red alert from what government organization and what should people be on the lookout for? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I won't wake up my friends in Tambobo without verification of this red alert, but I have observed this morning a large, formidable looking military ship, guns exposed, cruising close in up and down in front of my residence here in Dauin. Not sure whether I should feel comforted or frightened.
Any updates or confirmation? The first thing that comes to mind is kidnapping from Mindanao bad guys.

I totally understand Pats position from a previous incident but surely that's not related? Well it seems that the Philippine Coast Guard/Navy is taking the supposed thread seriously if they are burning through fuel patrolling the coast with a gun ship.
So they are doing the job then As they should be if there is a threat but as yet do we actually know what the threat is?
