Can any body here give me a review of this dental clinic Dr Ong in Sta Rosa St. My regular dentist is in Cebu, but its a long way to go just for one filling and cleaning Thanks
Not heard of this dentist. A lot of people have mentioned Dr gurupa a lady dentist who is supposed to be good though. Try a forum search as there are plenty of threads about dentists here.
thumbs down.. my wife went in for xrays.. and they didnt even have her remove her ear rings.. thankfully she wasnt hurt..
There is no danger of being injured from having jewelry on during an x-ray. The only reason they may have you take it off is if the jewelry will leave a "ghost image" blocking the view of the teeth. Perhaps you are thinking of an MRI....you would most certainly want to remove any metal from your body for that......that would most certainly end in some pain.
I had a tooth repaired by him, the senior Dr Ong. He did it in three visits at a fraction of the cost of other places. The work is holding up fine and I am happy with him. I would go back any time. His office is clean, but not the most modern equipment. It reminded me of going to the dentist when I was a kid...
Yes, he and his staff are excellent My gf had root canals, crowns, fillings and full x-rays---all were done very well and painlessly. I had root canal, crown and cleaning---all were excellent--Ong's "bedside manner" is brusque, but his professional expertise is quite good. Office runs like a Stateside office, but without the "coddling" --and prices! Much more reasonable than the other "expat favored" dentist i see discussed here--and he does not "lock his patients in" as she does! I would recommend him without reservation
I agree with tlrtraveler except about the cleaning part. Like him I'd avoid some of the others. Been there, been done by them
Thanks everybody for your reviews. I went to the dentist here in dgte (I won't mention the name) the dentist informed me there is nothing wrong with your back molar tooth. The dentist told me you must have a sinus problem, so off we go to Silliman med to have the doc's check with x-rays if there is any blockage. The Dr there stated there is no blockage normal paranasal sinus. Its your tooth. I have had enough of the failed procedures here after living for over 10 years in Dgte I went back to my Dental surgeon in Cebu and had two root canals carry out on the tooth. Expensive but the job is done.
