During the late 70's and through the 80's the world seemed to go through a Syndrome of Infant Cot death personally I have not heard much a bout it of late but in the early 90's my middle daughter lost her best mate at College through Adult Cot death, Now it is sad that I lost my Elder Brother on Thursday, he basically just died in his sleep. My niece is saying that although they have asked for no PM (autopsy) the Doctors are delaying the DC until tests are done, on what I don't know, he was a 68 year old merchant sea Skipper and retired from his position as a River Pilot only last year, no illness for a number of years, No heart problem or major things. just gave up I guess. His own Doctor just said to the family, it happens, I have seen many cases of "Adult Cot Death" and here we have another. Makes you wonder EH? JP
Sorry to hear that jack......There is a chance,if he was a heavy snorer and stopped breathing while sleeping that he suffered from sleep apnoea....
Sorry to read of your Brother's passing, Jack. I hope the Docs can find out what may have happened, if only to give a bit more closure to you and your family members. My heartfelt condolences to you and yours. V/R, nwlivewire
