    yes O is the universal donor and all that's needed for Dengue are the plateletts

    Hi guys. A donor has already been found, and luckily for now the platelet count has risen above the critical level, so he is on standby only. Have a nice sunday everyone!

    Yes that's true only the platelets are needed for Dengue fever, but it is difficult to find platelets here in PI. Ask for "White blood" from the hospital (that's what they sometimes call platelets here).

    Hope this helps even if maybe late to the party so to speak!
