I was that foreigner, I have no recollection of the incident . The bike was virtually undamaged save for a scratched fairing , broken mirror and a bent rear brake pedal.

I was lucky , or as Dr Brenda Diputado said , " luck had nothing to do with it , it's a miracle " ...
Broken clavicle , shoulder , fractured ribs , numerous cuts , stitched ....gravel rash etc etc , Oh almost forgot, double fractured skull.
Late reply because I only just found the post submitted by Shadow .

The Filipinos sure like to call anyone that's not a Filipino a "Foreigner".

Seems strange, but in the US, you usually don't hear US born citizens calling somebody that just came over from the Philippines a "Foreigner".

Glad u r ok, I have a set of blinkers and tail light assembly you can have for free if any of those parts were damaged. I have had 3 N6's and have some extra junk in the garage for them.....

I have 3 helmets, fat lot of good they were .....wasn't wearing one.
" Hemorrhagic contusion , right temporal lobe "
" Acute subdural hemorrhage , right fronto-parietal convexity"
" Linear fractures . Right frontal and temporal bones "
    " Subarachnoid hemorrhage "
    The above is verbatim .
This reflects unfavorably on my attitude, I know it . Problem arises because I've been riding bikes since 1964 . In the UK then it wasn't mandatory . To be able to ride again sans is just too tempting .
I still ride every day the same blue Ninja plus an XR 200 , I have a KTM Duke 390 on order. Sometimes I wear a full Spyder helmet .
The legacy I live with every day is tinnitus , sometimes a touch of vertigo and intolerance of Englishmen !( including Scots and the Welsh ) Lol.
I should add I was born and raised in South London . Came here to Dumaguete in 2012 and have no plans to return to broken UK.
    Ingat.

    Generous offer , thanks.
In general the bike was largely unscathed , a mirror was broken and the right side of the fairing scratched . Indeed , the bike was ridden from the place of the collision back to Looc by a kindly gent by the name of Dino Locsin.
Anyone know the fate of the hound ?

Hopefully for the rest of us you killed the mutt. One of the things here that really pisses me off is the amount of street dogs that lay around on the streets. If I had a car I'd plow over every one of them I had a chance to.

I'm doing OK , it took 6 months of therapy to regain proper rotation of my right shoulder , the hospital staff omitted to inform me of the following : " an impacted fracture is seen in the glenoid of the scapula "
I thought it was just the clavicle fracture taking an age to heel . S.U.M.C. supplied me with a sling and a pair of too small flip flops.
Anyway , mustn't complain and thanks for asking.
