    Well that will curtail the rescue flights then,going to get interesting over there soon unless these terrorist scum are wiped out.
    Egypt are not going to be happy about the situation as they rely on tourism heavily.

    Complete nonsense. A surface to air missile goes upwards of mach 6 (2,041.74 m/s). You won't see it coming and you certainly wouldn't be able to avoid it in a commercial passenger jet.

    It does seem a bit strange that it's only the daily mail reporting on it and as it mentions it was two months ago the incident happened!

    This story just doesn't add up somehow,I'm sure if this missile had been that close to a tourist plane and it was some sort of military training it would have caused international outcry by the Brit government! Why wait so long for the news story to be released? Now in most of the media.
    Sounds like more political bullshit to me.
