    :wink: I am sitting here thinking AH! My Friend, if you are looking at long term @ 1.000 + a night that's like 30.000+ a Month, have a look at the showcases on the Forum as there are Apartments that will give you more Freedom at maybe half the Cost.

    I think he might be looking for something more along the lines of a lodging house where the daily rates might be somewhere along the line of 100 pesos a night or less. I only know of a couple of these places and only one by name:

    Negros Lodging House
    Address: Dumaguete South Road, Calindagan, Dumaguete City
    Phone: (35) 225 9622 - (35) 225 9623

    Single rooms there start 130p a night (or at least they used to). That is still above your 1-2k a month budget though. You will have to call and ask if they have any long term rates.

    If you are looking for a monthly room for rent type place at a private residence I'm afraid the internet is going to be pretty much void of this information and I don't personally know of anyone that has that kind of setup.

    Ah OK my mistake, his Op sort of gave the impression per night.! 1.000 the sort of thing we are used to seeing here.
