No idea for Valencia, will ask if they come and fit digital boxes here. I know all of negros will go digital eventually. Cheaper for them also.

I'm sure there will "eventually" be traffic lights, stop signs and speed limit signs in every town in Negros as well.

I have a satellite dish to replace the cable if that happens. I'm not even sure what cable company the signal is coming from to be honest.

The only company here with cable is fil products as far as I know. I spoke with them when they got here and it will go off on dec 7th and digi will be switched on,a mate confirmed it also.

We have a cignal satellite dish which loses the signal every time it rains, they came to fix this twice, the second time needed a new part which we had to pay for and guess what still no signal on a rainy day, we decided to go back to Fil products which we had before but gave it up as picture was crap, we went to the office and paid for main and 2 extension boxes to be fitted on 23rd Nov that changed to 26th Nov which then changed to 30th Nov, I was dubious about this as it was a public holiday but lo and behold they turned up yesterday but with only 1 box that they could not fit as the analogue had not been turned off :wtf: SNAFU
Maybe its me but no matter how long I have lived here I will never get used to that

I grew up with satellite TV so I'm used to signal going out during heavy rains. Not really an issue here though: anytime we get a heavy rain that would disrupt a satellite signal the power goes out resulting in no TV anyway. I don't really watch much TV myself so it doesn't matter to me if I have cable/satellite TV or not. Anything I watch comes off my hard drive.

Finally got my Fil products boxes installed, the picture is good but now no program information guide so you know what channel you are on but you don't know what the program/movie is, when it starts and when it finishes, this might be good for some people with lots of time on their hands and just watch anything but for me it's like the no noon break scenario, one step forward and two backwards :banghead::banghead::banghead:
