My breadmaker has arrived. I'd love to find bread flour or wholemeal flour. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks...

The 'whole wheat' flour at YanYan appears to be mixed with refined white flour. The last true whole wheat we obtained was Bob's Red Mill purchased from iHerb.com delivered to POBox.ph to be shipped in our Balikbaysn box. Fast cheap delivery from iHerb at a good price.

Due to apparent gluten/insulin resistance in our family we've moved to a low-carb high-fat diet with promising results. YanYan is the best source in town for butter, mozzarella cheese, almonds and walnuts. See butter will make your pants fall off ..

Thanks for the info, Daan. I'm reluctant to 'import' flour, thinking that it should be available locally, but I'll keep Bob in mind. I don't need convincing about butter - the (imported) butter we buy here has a picture on the package of the mountain my wife Lorraine was born in the shadow of.

Thanks for the tip, Davy. Went there today, found flour labelled 'wholemeal' and labelled 'mulitgrain'! Great. Bought some "Bread Improver' too, which some recipes call for. And now I know Where to go if I need 10,000 plastic bags.
