DUMAGUETE HAS A NEW AMBULANCE Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental (PNA) – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has given the Dumaguete city government a brand new ambulance. Mayor Manuel Sagarbarria requested the City Council Presiding Officer, Vice Mayor Woodrow Maquiling, Sr. and City Health Officer Dr. Ma. Sarah Talla to get the unit from the PCSO central office in Manila last week. Sagarbarria had spoken with Political Affairs Office Undersecretary Joel Payumo in Malacañang earlier this year about Dumaguete needing a new ambulance and fire truck. Shortly after, Sagabarria said he was told the ambulance is ready. He was also asked that the city government should provide P300,000 as counterpart amount. The new ambulance costs over P1 million. The city now has two ambulances.
Wow and all this time I thought the Sweepstakes sign was related to your chances of arriving alive... Just Joking....
Are these actual ambulance vehicles or just vans with the rear seats taken out and some lights put on the top?
