Just think forward a bit ! If you are in a relationship with a lady here and and ever think you might want to go back to your home country which a lot of us never planed on doing, but with age and change in circumstances, you should consider this! So if you do get married do this! If you want to take your spouse with you in the future it is much easier to to get your fiancee into the country especially if she is young, then if married. So consider this , only get married here in the church with out registering the married. That way you can get a fiancee visa in 6 mo. and a much less chance of getting turned down when you get ready to go back home. I know people who have done it and it worked well for them. If you register your marriage your out of luck.
I assume you are American and referring to entry into the USA as this system would not work for the rest of the world/
