I was very impressed with the filet mignon. Very good taste and it was the first time in the Philippines that a steak was properly cooked to order (medium rare). The mashed potatoes served with it were done properly as well. Had a few bites of the gf's chicken toasted salad and it was also above par. Two (cold) beers, sprite, filet mignon (180g/6-7 oz?), chicken salad and espresso came out to about 525 pesos. I'll be returning.

Love the place. The food is very tasty and prices very easy on the wallet. The owner is also hands on and usually there and a very nice friendly Austrian. My only distraction is in the evenings as it's usually open door entrance the mosquitoes can be a bother. But the food is very good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

He needs to to do something about his online footprint. There is next to nothing online (not even a Facebook page) and the stuff that is there is a pretty negative. I saw the owner as I was leaving but didn't get a chance to talk to him.

I will try to mention this to him next time I am there. I never looked before. I just stumbled onto the place when driving around Valencia and we went in to check it out. Both myself and my SO enjoyed the food and have returned several times. I am just like that. When new to an area, I like to drive around and anything that catches my attention we stop in to check it out and if we like it we return. Been doing that for so long it's old habit now. This started before anyone here really had an online presence or even knew what the internet was for that matter... I guess old habits die hard!

By the way the mineral water called Naspri comes from the wifes family. They have had the natural spring on their property for generations as I was told (by her) and somewhat recently started bottling it and selling it in and around Dumaguete area. (Maybe last few years as I was led to believe?).

It's of course not that important, so just do that, for yourself and a mistake well, even the best horse is sometimes stumbling, but maybe in the UK or USA or AU they say it with other words.

    He's actually a Dutch-speaking (i.e. Flemish) Belgian.
