Highly recommend Reman Glass and Aluminum Dumaguete. Just replaced all my window screens, replaced a cracked window, and replaced a screen door with a heavy duty security screen door. Much better work than their close by competitor I used before.
I used Reman when i built my house, the job was aweful, but more importantly, the job wasnt finished before a guy came to ask for payment .... Never use them again
Interesting that we have Pat with 4,070 posts and joined about 6 years ago recommending a service whilst sfbg32 who joined today and with his/her first post rubbishes that same service. I know whose advice I would be taking...
Spoiler: Off-topic admin comment There is one hidden/deleted post in this thread from a user and one post was reported for moderator action: sfgb32 I understand you feel you were attacked in this post but I'm sure you also understand how others might come to the conclusion that someone that just joined the forum yesterday, made no introduction post and made a very short and nondescript negative opinion of a construction contractor might not be the most trustworthy source. For all we know you could be a direct competitor with the contractor in question and are trying take away from positive reviews he has received in this thread. Maybe this isn't the case, maybe it is but you certainly didn't leave us with enough information to figure it out. When I approved your first post here I had a strong feeling you were going to get called out on it. Pompolino made a valid point here, perhaps not in the most diplomatic way, but still a valid point. We don't know who you are, when you hired the man (last week? 20 years ago?), did you supervise any of the construction, what part of the construction did you consider "awful", how much money was requested before the construction was over, how far into the construction before the contractor supposedly walked away? All relevant information and if you had included any of this information you most likely would not have been "attacked" here. We reap what we sow and in very first post you made what looks like an attack, not a well thought out review/experience with this contractor. Did you really think people would react positively to that? As for you being "personally attacked" 5 years ago on this forum: I didn't run the forum then and you aren't using the user name you signed up with 5 years ago, I have absolutely no way of knowing who you are or what you are talking about.....and I won't delete your post in this message simply because you don't like how people reacted to it. In your two posts (and comments in the content you reported) it seems you just want to anonymously trash talk people with short one-liners. I think you are correct in your assessment that this forum is not the place for you. Best of luck to you in searching for a forum that will allow those types of posts.
