    I am looking to find a place where I could view and hopefully buy some paintings for our house. I like to support local artists and particularly young, up and coming artists because the ideas tend to be fresh. Is there a place here or nearby where they congregate to offer their work. The gallery in Robinsons leaves me bored and would describe it as a gift shop more than an art gallery.

    A prolific and sought after Artist (not so local though) but his works are also good investment pieces. From Cebu, but his works have appeared all over Philippines.

    I would like to add the artists name (Celso Duazo Pepito) because he can be contacted on Facebook and is quick to respond. I have friends that he has done
    portraits of and does great work. He will mail works out and or mail him a large picture and he'll have at it. He has also been known to travel to particular
    clients that wish for portraiture still lifes. A very well known artist even well outside of the Philippines. Tell him (John from TCR) sent you and it may save you some peso's.
