    This thread is heading rapidly south as the moderator might say. But as there is no further news yet about this, I thought I would break my identity to the assembled. There is a realistic depiction of me chalked into the hillside in the UK. It possibly explains why after 12 years of marriage my good lady wife is so happy. It could use a touch more detail, but you try carving stuff into a hillside. Not bragging at all.....:smile: . If there is any more news

    Its worth noting that 5 people 'agree' with Gerry's post and another one 'likes' it. His post makes me curious to know: is your restaurant a food service business or a religious place of tithing or both? In my opinion, your posts in this forum make it sound as if it is both. So if that is your intent then you are succeeding.

    Damm..I never expected this @ss reaming lol. I complimented you based on conversations from friends and family that frequent your place. You are correct, I have not been there. I don't eat on the National Highway because of the noise, smell and dirt,when there are many quiet, ocean side venues available. Second I don't go to places that are Non smoking. I respect the rights of the non smokers and do not let my filthy habit interfere with their meal. That being said all my post did was reflect comments made by customers of yours who are uncomfortable with your solicitation for funds for your private (after hours) commendable passion.
    Do not take this as an attack, rather an unbiased transfer of comments made by many who want True Love to be just a great restaurant, not a platform for your personal charitable venue. This is a dining forum.. Read all you have posted in the last several weeks before you tell me to mind my own business. As stated by Dustin..You have a "Charitable event" forum. Keep this forum for food and dining in Dumaguete only....

    Thankfully I've dodged that expensive, dirty, noisy and downright annoying bullet my entire life. If I did have any my only problem would be when the kidnapper demanded that I continue to pay for the little snot nosed brat until he finished college. That's like a thief stealing my TV then demanding I pay for their cable bill every month so they can use the d*mn thing.......but they promise I can use for a couple hours every other weekend. :shifty:
