    I don't know.
For a small investment it might be good insurance to have a dash cam when driving in the Philippines or anywhere in the world your driving. I think this video is in Korea but I could see this happening in Philippines...

Happens here in the big cities in the States. That's why more drivers are installing dash cams.

Between "bad" cop behaviour, new immigrants looking to make a buck, and plain out liars in minor traffic accidents, if you're on the road alot, it pays to have a camera working on your dash.

I wonder if they have such systems in a mini unnoticeable system for a motorcycle. Prob much higher risk of it being stolen though I suppose. I've seen to much insane stuff and barely missing being smashed a couple times by insane drivers. Incase it ever does happen I'd like to have some hard evidence as you know the locals and the police won't be backing you up so much as a foreigner. Even had an old motorcycle driver pull out randomly and hit me before where I stayed up but he went down hard. The guy apologized and took responsibility and as I was uninjured along with my bike rather leave him to it as I did. But one local who witnessed it *suggested* being the kind soul he is I just pay the old man even though I had absolutely zero fault. I didn't pay jack sh*t of course. But incase it went the other way I'd like to be able to play a video showing quite clearly the issue.

i have a dash camera but it's not water proof. i'd think one of those skydiver cameras would be the ticket. just hafta make a secure mounting bracket. smart had the cameras in a package deal a while back.

You can wear a cam. I've seem motorcycle vloggers that used a chest mount for their cam, just strapping it to themselves. You could have a pocket sewn on your shirt so your cellphone camera would be clear and use that for a cam. I have some bib-overalls where my big phone's camera just peeks out of the pocket, it would be way to hot to wear in the Philippines though. Maybe some sort of apron type thing that would also keep your clothes cleaner while holding and presenting your cellphone's cam? Maybe a secure Q-D mount for your CP to the motorcycle and you pocket the phone whenever you stop? I agree that I wouldn't want to leave anything attached to a motorcycle.

Xiaomi Yi cam should be about 3k and is only inferior to the Go-pro in sound quality. It's about 2mm larger than Go-pro so it can't use the same accessories, at least without modifying them. I was thinking of getting a Yi cam myself.

Don't know if this can solve the problem, but I just found out GoPro has a tiny, much smaller video camera called a GoPro4 Session. It's under 200 USD - don't know how long it stays filming before it runs out of battery power though.

    http://shop.gopro.com/hero4/hero4-session/CHDHS-101.html

This looks MUCH smaller when compared to a regular sized GoPro, so it would be extremely easy to take with you, to mount/dismount on your person, or to place it on any other thing you want it on.

    V/R,
