Here in the Junob, Bagacay Area we normally have mediocre Water pressure but over this Weekend it is abysmal. 3/4 of an hour to fill a 2.5 liter Bucket , Anyone else having the same problem?
Here in Lower Camanjac, the water pressure has been great yesterday and today. Best water pressure in the past 3 months!
Water pressure in my subdivision is low today. Could be that so many people are home using the water or it could be that the maintenance hasn't been keeping an eye on things. But as with all things Philippines, its our own fault. We should all have back up generators, water tanks up high to supply our own pressure, a minimum 3 week supply of our basic foodstuffs in case of 'no stock' or catastrophe and also a full tank of gas in case of shortages and we need to get away. Did I miss anything?
Probably cos you got a lot of ours from down here but seriously, I am beginning to wonder if they have turned on the Pumps and Valves properly this Morning? As we know they Turn them off at Night ( 10pm till 4.30 am I think)
We had kids turn the tap off at the meter, and once turn it three quarters off, took a while to work out why the pressure was worse than normal......might pay to check Jack...
It seems like with the drought, we have been hearing about, that at minimum a storage tank my be wise. It would ensure you have enough water to survive. I assume most people use bottle water do drink. I pay 25 P per bottle for water delivered to my house, which may be cheaper that piped in water. At minimum I can cook and even do "short" bathing if necessary with bottled water. Depending on the Utility company to deliver anything here constantly and timely is a huge assumption, just think about your internet and electricity services.
So I was told last week Valencia are also rationing water now due to the low river levels, another 2.5 months to go yet before we get any serious rain!
Our Captain told us just before Lunch that we can expect this for some time now as it is as Dave has already said, The Drought is upon us. SO guys and Gals, Plan "B" into Operation Yeah?
