I'm told I can get it done somewhere at City Hall for p250 flat rate, but we haven't confirmed that. Whose office would that be at City Hall btw?

    Any other reasonable options?

Surely from the seller? I say this because how would City hall know you bought a car and paid for it?

City Hall can create the form for you and notarize it, if you have the information and the people who have to sign it, if that is what you are looking for.

We used Atty. Mike Miguel whose office is next to Robinson Mall.

I don't know what is meant by "reasonable options" though.

Your deed of sale has to be notarized. The seller is responsible for providing a notarized bill of sale. I have had foreigners sell me a vehicle with an 'unnotarized' bill of sale that they drew up and it gave me a world of problems. I won't do that again.

When I sold my truck I went to a lawyer with my registration and the purchasers details and said: Please draw up a bill of sale and notarize it for me. Then I took the bill of sale to the buyer and he gave me the cash. Simple as 1 2 3 when you do it right.

Any attorney can do it-just looking for the one with lowest fee. City Hall said p3000 for an 800t sale

And to respond to the P3000 fee from the city hall..there is NO increase in the cost of getting a bill of sale based on he value of a moto or a car in this country. Just another scam..
