    I don't go back there because I have to park my car out in the heat while his employees park their junk motorcycles inside the gate & in the shade scattered around willy-nilly. - Even when we were the only day guests there..

    Went there the other month for a swim and drink. Really nice, liked it so much and the shakes were wonderful. Pool not so great until later in day as so hot. Very pleasant sitting under the trees at beach. Prices for a resort very fair.

    We went to Mike's a few times. First time we took a trip to Apo and everything was great and Mike was very out going and personable. Lunch on the boat was chicken adobo and was the best I ever had. Went back for lunch a few weeks later and kind of got the cold shoulder but no big deal. A few weeks after that we saw Mike in Hypermart and said hi to him. He said hi in return but almost seemed annoyed. Oh well.

    Shopping here has the exact same effect on me as well. If I am at the grocery store I have either somehow been tricked into it....or something has gone terribly wrong. :shifty:

    I have never met Mike, but I did enjoy the resort, the chicken adobo on the diving boat was very good, and I didn't like the hypermarket when I checked it out either.

    I don't have a car. However, I have an idea/thought; have the staff place cardboard on the motorbike seats like they do downtown. Anyway, we've been to Mike's Resort a few times for food and day swim in the pool. Always a good experience.
