Eaton said “I was arrested on the lobby with no drugs on me,” while Berg said “I have no purpose selling ecstasy. I have a good paying job.” Once arrested the two were caught with a total of 255,000 pesos worth of street drugs and 100,000 pesos in marked money. Both suspects will be charged with violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. Canadian and Australian Nationals Arrested for Illegal Drugs –
Well no sh*t, you just sold all of your drugs to the police.....what's the excuse for that P100k of marked bills in your pocket? Let me guess, "that's not mine, I have no idea where that came from. I've been set up! " It certainly was a "setup" alright.
They don't look happy. All fun and games until you get caught. I'm sure it's a b*tch getting a good night of sleep in a Philippines jail. Hopefully they have enough money in their networks to get out as soon as possible.
I'm not anticipating making a career change but for d*mn sure it won't be selling drugs in southeast Asia.
It doesn't help when your drugs which are classified as dangerous actually do kill people. In this case, 5 people died at the concert. If not for that, they may not have attracted the heat. The locals are bad enough with alcohol. Here's Why You Might Turn Red When Drinking Alcohol Apparently they can't handle their MDMA either. It's possible this stuff was bad E. Infographic: The Differences Between MDMA & PMA I don't know if these raves are common in the Philippines, but I would think that the people attending these events would be a bit smarter elsewhere. One of the side-effects of the "off-brand" is elevated temperatures. Not a good mix when you are dancing and possibly not taking in liquids. Also bad is that this stuff takes longer to take effect. If you take one and it doesn't have the effect you're looking for, you might be tempted to take another. Looks like the pills were going for 1500 pesos. These people probably got ripped off. Maybe they should let the family and their "customers" take a whack at them for selling some bad sh*t.
Lucky they were not in Singapore, or oops that might be a lot shorter time to pay for the crime if guilty....
And it does appear that they took PMA along with a bunch of other stuff. Either they were stuffing pills or they got this all in one. This is why you need to be hanging out with people who know what they are doing when you take drugs. Closeup concert victims' hearts, brains damaged – PNP This is a much more interesting story than the arrest of the foreign nationals. And a shocking death of 5 people.
How will the human race survive without these geniuses around? What exactly are they victims of? Oh yeah, that evil long nose drug dealer! I mean, it's not like they made a conscious decision to take a "cocktail of drugs and alcohol" while sober and they could be even remotely responsible for own personal choices.....nah, if the foreigner hadn't even been here the two little angels wouldn't have even thought about doing drugs.
I only went to one rave in the desert of Arizona. It seemed like it was for people who were late teens. Old enough to be on their own but too young to drink. There was no alcohol served. Serving alcohol anywhere these types of parties is probably a bad idea. It also seems like drinking and downing anything classified as a hallucinogenic is a rookie move. Hallucinogenics overpower the alcohol and you don't feel the alcohol as you drink it. Of course it's still doing the same thing to your brain and your body. That could be seriously dangerous to someone who isn't aware of that and not somewhat tracking their consumption. The problem with E is that it's a party drug as opposed to LSD and shrooms which are generally for more chill environments. Again, I don't have much experience with it though. This is a bit of an eye opener for a drug which I have always thought to be relatively safe. Of course, the issue here is that (among others) these people didn't know what they are taking. Shabu and alcohol is much the same, but hallucinogenics have a much greater effect on your thinking ability as well. People here who take Shabu know what they are getting into. Not so much when they are going for a little trip. Lesson for the Philippines. Don't serve alcohol anywhere near these parties.
Really. Shroomies were my FAVORITE party drug. But that was a long time ago in a country far, far away. And besides, shrooms don't grow in this climate.
