My wife has been told it's not possible to just go to the office and queue to get NBI clearance renewal anymore and you have to register at their website but for the last 2 days it appears to be offline and shows the message below. Maybe i am not so computer literate but what would you do with a snapshot of the site as it states below ?? This page (https://nbi.gov.ph/) is currently offline. I would say go ahead and try without it. I did the internet thing for my Wife's clearance in May but it sure looked to me like several people were walk ins only.
We did similar, but I heard walk-ins being turned away and told they needed an online appointment. Perhaps its one of those "your mileage may vary" things.
I just did a walk in a week ago, just dont put up with their sh*t, say you dont have internet access and its very important. get the persons name in charge and tell him you will file a complaint if they try giving you sh*t. You should come up with no hits and get instant paperwork but for some reason "foreigners" all come up with hits and it takes about 1-2 weeks to get it verified and cleared so you may need to come back. Regardless I personally know the supervisor at the office he is very nice guy he will take your cell # and txt you when it is in. Ive had to get NBI clearances at that office off of daro like 4 times now so I know the routine. Just make sure you have all the paperwork, passport, other ids, and they might need a 2x2 picture of you.
