I want to get some T Shirts personally embroidered for my family back home but these people are HUGE. In Canada, the guys I am thinking of would wear 4X shirts and both of them are at the high end of 300 to 400 pounds. So where can I find, or get made, T Shirts or Polo Shirts to fit. On line sites? Seamstresses who know how big that really is? Anywhere? Anyone know?
Couple of doors up from Dexters pizza on Santa Catalina street going back toward silliman is a "T" Shirt maker.
Cute, but the place JP mentioned is going to make them all for me, I think. They said they can make any size I want, up to and including 5X. Since both my son-in-laws are 6 feet tall and over 400 pounds apiece I think I will go with 5X for them. Any foreigners here that are 6 feet tall and 400+ pounds that can confirm?
Make sure to look at an actual t-shirt....I got one made at the embroidery place at the mall, size 3x for a large guy in the states, and it turned out to be more like an XL (my fault for not looking before ordering). I did find some US sized 3 and 4X polos and t-shirts at the Aly Mae Surplus stores and at Lee Hypermart.......
Just walk around town until you find fat people, then ask them where they do their shopping. Good candidates for places to look is McDonald's and foreigner hangouts. Check the buffets and pastry shops.
I have 15 adult shirts and 7 kids shirts being made, using front and back silk screening that I designed myself (crossing fingers they look good). I just checked last night and the material that I ordered is finally there, took a week for them to order it and get it delivered. Its a very nice stretchy cotton blend. The sizes range from 5XL down to smallest kid size. Price for the adult shirts we agreed on 400 pesos per shirt (its slightly negotiable depending on material and the amount of work. Price for the kids size we agreed on 250 per shirt. They expect to have it all done in one more week so its still an ongoing project.
