Does anyone know where I can get my floor fan repaired. It has become very noisy, so I guess the bearing needs to be replaced.
I took a fan out to the lg repair place the other day, great service and have also used for tv repair before. 0923 2057427 Where to Find - Tv repair
There is a fan guy located just over the "new bridge" coming into city from Robinsons. Take the straight road past the abandoned Texaco and go over the bridge and they are directly on your right hand side. Cheap, fast and hard parking lol...
The fan just needs to be cleaned at the bushing. The fans sold here do not have bearings. The anti corrosion coating on the fan shaft gets hot and melts into the bushing creating a sticky glue like gunk to form in the bushing. The Guy that gerry_bc listed can do it in a few minutes.
Took my fan there yesterday, picked it up today. works as new, very fast and cheap. Thank you for your help.
I had a bad experience with LG Repair. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Maybe they liked you better. Or maybe they saw that I was too trusting and so they ripped me.
I had a 50 inch flat screen t.v.that was having problems. I took it to them and the owner said the problem was a bad back light. I said ok can you repair it. He says I don't know we have to check into it further. The t.v. when turned on would flicker and had sound but no picture. We sat there and waited while they were working on it and then he said it may take quite awhile and so we said that we would return later. We returned later and all of a sudden the problem was that it had a bad power board. I am sitting there thinking that it had power but I went along with it and asked how much for repair. He says at least P10,000. I said "Do you guarantee it is the problem." He says no. I ask if he had the tools to check to see if that was actually the problem. He says no. I knew then that something was terribly wrong here. He hooked up the t.v. cord and no flicker and no sound. I then decided to take my t.v. and leave. I went straight to another repair shop, he checked it and said the power board was missing. Now i ask this. do you think maybe i was ripped off? I didn't dare go back to complain with me being a foreigner and him with a dozen or so filipinos hanging around. Be your own judge with my story. I just take the loss and go on. Buy another and never trust that place again.
By the way after i got home after dealing with this most of the day i googled for a power board that would fit my t.v. Cheapest one on the internet was P8,000 and no guarantee that it was a good one. Go figure.
In Sibulan there is Nelson for floor fan and other repairs. The shop is called Electric Repair or something similar on the right side of the Highway heading toward Sibulan center from Dumaguate. Next to a Lottery outlet.
