We had a brief power flicker here in mid afternoon and the PLDT DSL went out. It never came back on despite repeated attempts to unplug and reboot. So I fired up the old Smart Bro Pocket Wifi and I'm here to ask if anyone else (in Sibulan or nearby areas) is online with PLDT DSL. I need to know whether to start kicking up a fuss if its only me or waiting until they get the problem fixed if its lots of folk. My lady is canvassing the neighbors now, to see if others still have PLDT working, but the reliability of the info she gets is questionable.
Not only DSL my friend, PLDT are having quite a few problems just now, my LTE Ultera (Wifi) has been in and out all day Sunday and my 5 mbs was at best .87. This morning I have tried to get their page up for checking usages and Guess what? Yep! they have an ERROR. Try again later although I am on Line just now, it is very slow and is On and Off
They must say that so people will stop asking because the Wifi was back on at 7 am today so only out for about 15 hours total.
Hello from Australia, I have a friend in the Philippines he has just set up PLDT ADSL and it's been working great since day one.. my friend has no idea about computers so I remote to his computer using Google Chrome remote desktop.. he had set up an IP Camera. I had to log into the modem and setup. Port forwarding and ddns.. I seemed to of had it working within no time , checked it day after day , a day before my friend had to return back to Australia it stopped working out of the blue... So now I want to set up a better modem and send it over but I need to know some settings I email PLDT asking for settings they told me to call 172... THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT... The modem username is it just the username or do you need to use the full email address as we do in Australia. Can I use pppoe VI 0 /100 My plan is toset a modem up here and send it over.. If anyone can help I'll really appreciate it.. Am I missing any settings Thanks
