Manila - An existing eight-person subcommittee of the House of Representatives has approved the bill to reintroduce the death penalty on Tuesday. - Klajoo.com - The House of Representatives Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez says all members of the House will be in the next few days then decide on the opponent of the death penalty. According to the draft law, the death penalty is to be applied, among other things, in the case of car theft, civil service, destructive incendiary incitement, drug-related crimes, abduction and illegal detention, child killing, murder, piracy, looting, robbery, violence, rape and betrayal. The death penalty is to be carried out by means of a poison, shooting, or as demanded by President Rodrigo Duterte by the proposed execution by hanging. As mentioned (see Article 19/11/2016) already by Alvarez in November, the law for the cons of the death penalty is adopted before the Christmas break. MIB
How many innocent people will die when this will come active? How many people will die due false witnesses, drug planting or blackmailing? A bad justice system paired with death penalty will go horribly wrong.

You forgot the shitting in public and throwing garbage anywhere. More serious: They forgot to include corruption. Probably they would have to execute the complete coverment if they include this.
We can only hope, right? Joking! I can agree at least with the death penalty for piracy because it's nature deserves the harshest penalties. The harshest penalty to me would be consecutive life sentences to Philippine prison without possibility of parole but if the court felt lenient I wouldn't b*tch too much if they commuted the sentence to death.
The wording is not very well described, i hope its piracy on the high seas and not the internet. That would be a tall order.
