Hi. I brought a small LCD TV with me from Australia. Apparently, it needs a small electronic adaptation before it will work here. Can anyone give me some info on that?

If it's the AC plug adaptor you need they are available nearly in any hardware store in town.

The broadcast system here is NTSC, whereas the system in Australia is PAL. You will need an NTSC to PAL converter. I have one I no longer need and you can have it gratis. If you drink in town, just PM me with your name and favourite watering hole and I will leave it there for you. No guarantee that it will work. Trying to get any work done on a circuit board here is next to impossible and will most probably end up with your TV being trash.

Thanks, ex, but no, it's not the adapter.

Hi King, thanks a lot for your reply and your offer. I don't have a watering hole, but I could meet you at your house or some other place any old (day) time. I live in Zamboanguita but can travel anywhere. Email: hewson5@outlook.com Phone: 0921 6688 609. Thanks again, Paul Hewson (NZ)
