I was wondering if you can grow white clover in the Philippines. I was looking at the range in the US and is all 50 states so I assume it will grow. The wife says she has never seen it growing but I came across some seeds at a store in Turkmenistan and figured I'd toss them out in the yard when I get home and see what happens. Just curious if anyone has it in their yard or have seen it growing...Google was not much help other than to talk about honey from bees raised on clover. Shawn
in most cases it is not the climate that is the problem here. the soil is not very good and in some cases toxic to non native plants. Do some research on soil conditions that white clover grows in and then compare to your local soil. Silliman has a horticulture dept. that can help you.
Clover will at least sprout here...I have it sprouting up in the places I tossed the seeds, hopefully it will take. Fortunately it has been raining good and am looking forward to seeing how it works in the yard. Shawn
