I live in Bacolod City and just renewed my ACR card. I am wondering why it differs so much between immigration in Dumaguete and Bacolod. On Tuesday I went to BI office in Bacolod and they ask for passport, ACR Card and last year receipt plus P310. They apologized because the computer system was down and ask me to be back in the morning as early as 7AM to get my receipt, which I did. No other questions or request for copies of any document. Been the same way for the last 6 years. Just wondering why?

I remember renewing a tourist visa years ago in Bacolod and they looked at me like I was silly when I came in with my stack of photocopies. Are there any photocopy businesses nearby the Bacolod branch (that may or may not give a cut of the business to immigration)?

There is something Radically wrong here, I spoke to Mandaue office this morning and they tell me that there is no necessity for any Photo copies of anything from a 13a Holder that is Reporting for a 2nd and subsequent time Just Your Passport your ACI , Last years OR and 310 peso IF it is your 1st time reporting ie Probation or a new i3a from abroad then they need the Online Number printed and submitted.
Many complaints have been received and they tell me they are going to look into it. It would appear this is only happening at Field offices
Maybe I should send them a Hymn book so they can all sing from the same book.
No it does not take that Long to get the Photo copies but we all know the situation in Dumaguete BI office. 9/10 times you end up at the back of the Queue again
On the other Hand maybe just maybe, this is Peter Bueno's attempt to prove he needs to Relocate his Office
    Just saying :bag:

I'm wondering if the unnecessary paper is sent to the town hall for TP distribution....

I think the last time his office was relocated he ended up in the basement of the Cebu office. He probably doesn't want that again. LOL

One thing to watch out for: I once had my visa pictures taken at that travel agency behind immigration and they handed me the pictures in a folded piece of discarded paper. That discarded piece of paper was a photocopy of someone's passport. Full name, country, DOB, place of birth, passport number...pretty much all the info a thief would need to steal someone's identity.

we're planning a duma trip and i'd like to get my BOI ducks in a row so we don't spend our town day doing the BOI waltz so i'm asking here:

i've spent hours and more searching the annual report and arguing with the little woman about it and i'd appreciate it if someone will set us straight:
i'm a 1st timer, got my passport stamped ''permanent'' but i'm still waiting (7weeks and counting) for my updated ACR-I card to be released before i do the online confirmation number thing but then, i'm assuming i can't file for a confirmation number until i have my permanent ACR-I in hand even tho it states ''Original ACR-I card, which is confusing also.
original ACR-I card? like the very 1st ACR-I card i was ever issued?

and i'm confused by the vua.immigration.gov.ph website, it's dated 2015 and says it's for REPORTEES WHO FAILED TO COMPLY WITH AR 2014 FORM.

    also:
    Home says:
The reportee shall present: (1) original ACR I-card and (2) confirmation number issued via AR 2017 online system (for aliens who failed to accomplish AR 2014 form and AR 2015/2016 online form).

thanks... i'll be sitting on the edge of my chair
