I guess if you Log and do the on line registration it can be sorted out. according to the Website there is a fine of 200 peso a year and probably a slap on the hand

    Annual Report (A.R.)

There have been cases that a 13a can be removed if the reasons are not good best you get it sorted as the are seeming to get tougher on Visas:wink:

It would probably be very wise for you to fix that issue. The current administration, who appointed the BoI chief, seems to have a "do as I say or GTFO" motto. If you have all your eggs in the Philippine basket it would be a really good idea to protect that basket by doing everything the government tells you to do. Now is really not the time to mess about and ignore the laws of your host nation.

I totally agree. I am delaying a trip back to the States because I am waiting for my 1st 2 month (this round) extension before I send my passport to Manila for renewal. BI here said no big deal if I overstay while waiting for my new passport but I do not want an overstay on my record - even if for only a few days for a good reason (US embassy has my passport for renewal).

Do AR requirement apply to either SRRV visa holder or those with Balikbayan stamp? I've always assumed they didn't, but I see some posts on other sites saying that they do.

I would assume that it would apply to the SRRV visa (an immigrant visa) and not to the Balikbayan visa (a temporary visa).

Have a look at the related threads on the Visa and Passports sub-forum. I am almost certain the SRRV thread speaks on your question.

I'll take a look, and/or post in one of those threads. I did a quick pass but didn't find anything but that was a while ago. But BTW (and I know this doesn't make any sense) SRRV is considered a "special non-immigrant visa"!

    Oops. Sorry about that.

I checked the PRA website and I didn't see anything about annual reporting (I just skimmed the page quickly so it might be there). However, I did see where there is an annual fee:
    [quoote]Annual Fee (PAF) US$ 360 (covers 3 family members) [/quote]
    PRA: Philippine Retirement Authority

I take an annual "fee" and annual "reporting" as kinda the same thing....since you have to "report" to the PRA to pay the fee. Not sure if the same type of documentation would be needed but you might still need to get to Cebu once a year to pay that fee, which would likely include filling out some paperwork.

As for the Balikbayan visa: I was under the impression that it was a 1-year visa, after which you would need to leave the country....or possibly renew it under certain/special circumstances for a short period of time.

 I think at this time a year we get this question on the BB stamp, basically it is a privilege stamp issued on Entry (By immigration) with your Spouse on behalf of the Tourist board mainly to attract Filipinos to return home & bring the other Half to Spend:wink: It is a Visa Waiver more so than a Visa per-say and Lasts for (one) year or less is you decide to leave you can only use it once (If you have 3 months left you can't re-enter for the remaining 3 months) After the initial 1 year you have to register as a Tourist and Go on Extensions this is a debatable point, do you get 3 years on Extensions or only 2 ( You have been in the PI already 1 year? It can not be Renewed while you are in the PI as it is only Granted on Arrival ( With your Spouse)
To get another Year it will need you and your Spouse to do a Run but be careful, if Immigration suspect some pattern and the system is being abused (it is a privilege) they may not Grant the Stamp. For me, Stagger your comings and Goings.

This my Understandings of the BB stamp

i still don't know what's meant by ''(1) 'original ACR-I card' but now i assume that means they want to see the actual card, not a copy of the 13A card.

and i never did the '(2) confirmation number issued via AR 2017 online system' cuz the little woman spared me the cebu bus trip and went to cebu BOI herself and picked up my 13A ACR-I (permanent resident) card and paid my 1st timer annual fee while she was there and was told that i was done/finished til 2018

she also double checked with the duma BOI office and they confirmed that i don't have to report for another year.

i had to wait 10 weeks for the 13A ACR-I card to be released, it took 5 calls to cebu BOI and 2 calls to manila BOI.

of course, your mileage may differ but i hope that helps some other confused 1st timer soul...
