This site is not just for foreigners. There are many long-time members here that are Filipino.

You would not tuck it right by the edge on top to fall out. Anyone could have shoved that in there while closed.

The guy did run from the police, get in an accident while doing so, fled on foot, refused to give the police the keys to open the bike and provided fake IDs, registration and insurance. This, of course, does not necessarily make him guilty of trafficking drugs (it is quite common for locals to not have legit paperwork to operate a vehicle and trust in the PNP is not all that high)...but it certainly won't help his situation out in the courtroom any.

Yeah, I think someone saw the cake and added the icing to make it all that more sweeter. Definitely a shady guy. It's karma...

The "planting" term is known to be "framed up". On this, he clearly made a violation but the drugs c'mon. What's the connection of opening a ubox to a traffic violation and if i were the person with drugs, why would I do such stupid thing by hiding the "drugs" in the ubox. It's easy to detect it there.

You might change your mind and think it is a good idea if you were high on whatever he was carrying. Anything is possible, criminals and drug addicts do stupid things they don't even remember and some cops do stupid things to catch them. As for me, don't know, wasn't there, not gonna try and figure out just exactly how stupid the guy is/was.
