Yeah, I've stopped there to inquire about car rentals. They rent cars like a Wigo for 1500 a day or a mid size car for 2,000 a day. Strange combination: Car rentals and Lechon sales. Funny I never noticed the lechon for sale sign. Thanks for the pic and the info.
It's easy to look for a good size of pig in the neighborhood (four-km radius), buy two long necks of Tanduay for the lads to tuyok, get enough spices and firewood and you'll have a nice and freshly roasted pig but eating a whole lechon with a group (unavoidable) requires some speed and skill to win the race. That is why I want the per kilo type to take to a public beach (my kind of place) just for me and bf to enjoy. Not that I don't like parties, I do, but only when I'm already full.

If you want the best of both meat and crispy skin get kev the butcher to tie up a rolled shoulder with the skin on and roast for couple hrs,price per kg is similar but you get a lot less fat.
The place I mentioned does other things besides whole pigs, actually I think now I remember 2 boards they had up. One for deliveries and one a list of the different items they sell. Last purchase was in November and my memory aint what it used to be, sorry. Certainly there are many places much closer to you that would still be hot when you got home? My d*mn brain is telling me I know about 'Kev the butcher' but isn't telling me how to find him. Now that I have a couple induction burners and an oven I can do more than head over and stand in line for lechon at Valencia Plaza. Was following those directions, made it to the welding shop and got (virtually) lost looking at the 2 km point (was starting to wonder if he was a neighbor of Dr Berovic). Turns out as I was searching +/- 2 km 'Kevin the Butcher' is listed in Google Maps. It shows him at the back of Judyville Subdivision. Is the Google location correct (800m from welding shop) or is he closer to Dr Berovic's place?
I haven't been to both but I believe they're too far apart. Dr. Berovic is accessed through Kalye Pitong Gatang while Kevin the butcher is through DC Road (no name on google yet). Just start from KIA motors, that's the oldest way to Tubtubon.
