I wonder if the "shut up type supporters" decline if Duterte does not come through on all his promises. Or will they just be blaming it on something or somebody else.
Nope, "it's never our fault". On a serious note, I don't he should be attacked personally for writing what he sees and hears and to question some of them.
A good material for a book if he could write something like Frank McCourt's memoir, "Angela's Ashes". I wonder if such is already published. I would love to read it even in Filipino.
We all know I am sure, that many of these articles and such are written by people who 9/10 times have never been here or at least only to Resorts and/or Manila, they must as we all should, accept that things are never as they would have us believe, so they must expect some negative comments ie; When they say for instance that the cheapest a quickest way to Travel here in Dumaguete ( and I am not sure this was even mentioned but) we would argue No it is a bad way at times to commute dirty noisy and a scam many times to tourists. If General Sweeping Statements are made and we living here know different we are going to say, so now I don't support that he has been Attacked at all but rather the real Truth Pointed out.
I think the guy was just giving his opinion. He openly explained his bias. He was being far more honest and open in his article than many of the people in the comments.
Be this as it may, I still think anyone writing Articles should expect Criticism somewhere along the Way None of us will ever all think the same, Life would be too boring.
