    just another rumor, pinoy friend saw 3 boats landing near St.Catalina, loaded with armed men with long beards, supposed to be foreigners - 4 of them already caught by police, the rest hiding in the mountains - how I love this country full of stories and fairy tales ...

    Yesterday we had a Chopper flying very low over the trees here! (Friday) They seemed to be looking for something/someone and were doing the rounds looking very intently around the western side of the highway opposite the Malatapay Markets heading back towards the mountains. I wasn't concerned (did disturb my Poppy nap tho :sleep: ) but 'the family' were abuzz with possible scenarios of what may have been occurring... :rolleyes:

    A group of 20 landed last week and tanks and military were on the rollout, my wife just got there from Australia (We live in Amlan) and was surprised with all th military coming through....sounds like all the refugees fleeing?

    I think Ninja meant 'Armoured vehicles', but if you believe everything you read in the News then the Philippines has Army Tanks; :biggrin:
