The patient's Dr could be advised as to what meds the donor is taking and make a decision. SUMC even wants donor to be off baby aspirin for a month before being allowed to give! If patient's Dr doesn't see any conflict with patient receiving that blood then what the blood lab doesn't know won't hurt them. Things didnt used to be so strict. On the other hand if you want to pay a donor upwards of p2000 (plus almost p4000 cross matching fee), I have a guy's number for that-it gets the job done should all other avenues be exhausted
Too old I'm told, phoned the gentleman he told me at 63 too old, ah well I tried. Holy child hospital.
I believe the Red Cross has a higher age limit. You can probably donate there and have them take the blood to the patient at the hospital. Do they ask for ID when you give blood?
I wonder how many questions they ask the guys on the street who sell their blood. And I wonder how many truthful answers they get.
Red Cross Lapu lapu seem to have a good supply. I think you pay p1800 for the blood plus the crosmatching fees
Great, because that matters and will stop them from lying or not knowing about having diseases. I hope they do plenty of blood tests along with those questions (because that's all I would really care about).
