As in "cash on delivery"? That's still a thing? I just remember it from the late 80's and 90's as a kid when my parents ordered junk from infomercials. What is the benefit/appeal of COD for you?

Its still commonly called cod for cash on delivery. (Ever ordered from Lozada for one example)? Cod would be easier in my case. If its available. Also I'd rather not send cash to someone I don't totally trust. If you disagree I know a girl in Manila that would come and love you forever if you send transportation money haaahaaa

COD = Cash on Delivery but I still wouldn't buy anything from anyone/anywhere I don't trust. COD Simply means you are paying once its delivered, so it could be a rock in a box for all that matters. You are still paying but the sender has to send something..now whether or not the item they shipped is what you were expecting is a totally different story.

In my case its a document, the sender lives in a very remote area and luckily there is an LBC not too far away. Western union,DHL,FedEx, etc are all 2 hours away. Lozada uses LBC to deliver products COD locally, thats why I asked

The good thing with COD is that you're sure you're stuff is delivered  I don't know about the US but DHL Japan comes to pick up our package.

Open a Philippine PayPal account. Don't link it to any bank account or card. Send money from your regular PayPal account to your Philippine account.
