Well, I have a 7GB Download Limit per day at 3MBPS then after I hit that 7GB usage marked my bandwidth slows to 1MBps Unlimited.
I have Globe Landline with DSL Broadband P1599 postpaid plan that allows 150GB of data at up to 15MB speed. When the 150GB is used up, the speed slows to about 3MB until the first day of the next month. Those subscribers with Globe for their home internet may not be aware that they can get a data boost (Globe calls it a Volume Boost) that is good for 30 days. The Boosts are in various increments from P99 for an additional 50GB up to P999 for an additional 1000GB. The data boosts are also available for LTE. More information is available at the link below. Really? Do you know how long it has taken for them to just get up to a steady 2Mbs? (Many people in the area still don't have that.)
So far so good, the boys installed it in 60minutes and all works perfect. To good to be true, lets hope i can enjoy this for a while. PS This will be limited in 20Mbps U/D probably tomorrow and then we see how long it lasts. I will keep the Globe DSL for a backup, you just have to here. This plan is 1899php/month, probably still some more for the modem they mostly do that. If this stays good i will upgrade to 50Mbps like after newyears.
IF it is Smart or Globe you cannot even open a web page here, happy as a Pig in shyte with Fil-Products service, but can always hope something faster comes along! I use to use up my 500GB allowance back in Oz in a week or 2 ending up capped/throttled for the rest of the month, just thankful F-P has no Data limits or caps, but will still be monitoring the Fibre-Optic here in the hope the price comes down once it becomes more popular to do some serious downloading like before...
