    I know the topic of Medical Insurance has been covered over and over in terms of Philhealth, 3rd party options, etc, however I have a very specific question. Is anyone aware of any type of Private insurance carrier that will charge you either a monthly or yearly premium but will cover EITHER A) Outpatient Visits, AND/ OR B) Medications. The main reason I ask this is because I am on a variety of very expensive medications due to a serious head trauma related incident and to cover my medicine monthly out of pocket really adds up. I mean 1 of my medicines alone costs around 250 PER Tablet. I am supposed to be taking 1 a day. So in this scenario I would be open to consider some type of insurance provider either locally or a reputable company out of the country that would reimburse me for Prescriptions and possibly any out-patient office visits I may have. I typically only have a couple of outpatient visits a month so covering that out of pocket isn't a big deal but the prescriptions when added all together gets to be pretty ridiculously high.

    Thanks

    I'm sure there is one out there that would cover pre-existing health problems. Although the cost of coverage would likely cost more than just paying out of pocket.

    Try to look at this site: Pacific Prime | Simplifying Health Insurance
    you just need to fill up the form base on your concern and they will contact you. You can ask them about your meds.

    I am sure also that a local Hospital/Medical Center here in Dumaguete has a Private Insurance that covers pre-existing conditions, was posted on one of the many Philhealth threads that are on here...

    Yes, Pacific Cross has a pretty good reputation in the Philippines afaik, however, the link you gave is for their sister company in Hong Kong.
    The correct link for the Philippines is Pacific Cross

    I didn't see any prescription medicine coverage on the Pacific Cross website, but I may have overlooked it?

    I found the link I mentioned earlier (Caritas Health Shield Inc.) could not see anything regards Prescription Meds, but it does cover pre-existing conditions;
