Don't forget where you live. When there are already a mess of wires around you will have some issues to see if some other houses are connected to your transformer. Or then the neighbors are connecting their homes to your transformer on their own. (Very dangerous but still done by crazy people.)
You would think so, but Fil-Products informed me that part of the deal of connecting me 100m from the highway was; if neighbours wished to connect they would connect to the box beside us running to my connection for TV & Internet to save them from running cables in again from the highway and use just the one cable. Anything is possible here and quiet likely to happen regardless how impossible it may seem.
Is this the type of transformer we are talking about? Is the size about the same? What does a 7KV transformer look like if not like the picture below? For chuckles I looked at my power. The line coming into the house has 2x 100A circuit breakers, one on each line. The breaker panel has 490A worth of circuit breakers (2x 50A, 10x 15A, 12 x 20A).
Those are 7 Kv transformers. You can tell from the insulators on the pole. I would guess that those are 25 KVA transformers and will produce about 110 amps. All the breakers in your panel come in pairs. They break the line a neutral here. Is this picture from the Phils? The lightning arresters and other hardware look a little different from what I normally see.
