Close call for me! As soon as I read about the bushy frontage my mind slipped into gear - but before I could put pen to paper I noted you had been 'punished'. Perhaps that 'abhorrent' could be removed

 

Must be our British humour, never mind there's always one.

The lovely wife checked that one out (I believe) and she said they only had fruit trees, no shrubs. She also checked another place in Dumaguete that only had ornamental plants.

I would appreciate some more suggestions as my time will be short at home with a large list of items to get knocked out.

BUGGER! I WAS hoping to place an order for around 20/30 Dwarf Coconut Trees along with some other Grafted Fruit Trees...

Anyone know of a Nursery here in Negros who do similar deals?

 

There are several types I have seen, the one I *think* you are referring to is called a Fan Palm as far as I know, like this; (My Dad had one in our front yard as a kid back in Oz)

The other is also called a Ruffled Fan Palm (as I have heard it) but is a different style;

Another which is REALLY POPULAR here in the Philippines is the Australian Fox Tail (aka; Pony Tail where I come from) Palm;

Brian...the first one you posted is the fan tree I'm looking for. Now just to figure out where to find one. The wife was told that we should look around Valencia for the shrubs and fan tree, so I guess we will be searching next week.
