    It would be good and being a nice info for visitors in Dumaguete if we can make a list of all Jeepney routes inside and going out from Dumaguete.

    There are some lettered routes also available like route B, C and F I can vaguely remember. But I dunno where they are exactly and to where they go. I assume that there are even more routes.

    The routes I can remember are the routes:
    DGTE - Amlan
    DGTE - Tanjay
    DGTE - Zamboanguita
    DGTE - Valancia
    DGTE - Sibulan

    It may also help to let them know where they need to go to catch the Jeepney;

    There is the Dumaguete to Siaton Terminal opposite Robinson's Mall also. (This covers the Dumaguete to Zamboanguita route but some only go as far as Zamboanguita so ask before boarding, AND: IF the Jeepney is full and you do not feel comfortable sitting in the aisle, walk 40/50M up the street and board the waiting Jeepney to gain a good seat (I like to sit right by the exit so I do not need to crawl over everyone with my broken leg)

    there are no jeepney routes that run "inside" teh city. all jeepney routes run form dumaguete nto/from the surrounding municipalties. pedicabs are the only option for "in city" transpotation, wich is something that needs to change.

    Many EasyRides, (Jeepneys but they call them EZ Rides in Dumaguete), start from the terminal in the back of Robinson's mall but then have a secondary start somewhere else.

    For example, the Sibulan EZRide can be caught from the Robinson's Mall jeepney terminal and take you downtown where it will fill up near the market.

    You will pay double fare if you go from the mall rather than from downtown. That means you will pay 16 pesos instead of 8 if you leave from the mall but there will seldom be anyone else riding with you as its quicker to take a trike to the market and then get on a jeep.

    The advantage to me is I can get the front seat all the way home if I board at Robinson's and I just give him 20 pesos for the whole trip. And that's just one "EZY Ride" route.

    The jeepney to Valencia 'Terminal' is between Cervantes Street and Real Street on Sta. Rosa

    THANK YOU for that! I have seen that area as the Jeepney cuts through behind Robinson's Mall and I always sort of assumed it was a 'Rest Area' where they waited until it was time to go to their allotted Terminals. Never realised it is actually a Terminal of sorts! :thumbsup:

    The Robinson Jeepney terminal seems to be quite new. I can not remember that it was there when I was in Dumaguete year 2013. And we did even walked around the mall.

    This article (link below) from the archives of the Negros Chronicle is from Nov 25, 2012 and the Terminal was just opening up for a 2 month trial "dry run". Its possible they stopped operating for a while and then started up again which is why you may have not noticed it. But all in all it has not been a success. Many jeepneys leave there and few passengers are on them. I have noticed business picking up a bit lately so maybe it just takes time for people to get used to it.

    I very much sympathise with you Brian; I find it a struggle to get inside just because of my height. I avoid jeepneys unless I can see a seat next to the exit but I think some of them are amazing vehicles. One day, as a project, I am going to photograph as many as possible. Yes, I know I am boring!
