    Department of Trade and Industry equivalent to the Consumer Protection Agency in the US. Their involvement in this was to get us to settle our differences and we did through DTI's Mediation Conference conducted by a DTI Mediation Officer, (arbitrator).

    That is excellent information. What are the particulars about contacting them and asking for help with a situation? I have no use for them now but I think we all need that information if you would be so kind.

    Sorry to hear of your really terrible experience with Executive Optical. I have been thinking I need a new prescription and glasses, based on your experience I will certainly avoid them. Thanks for telling your story here, I'm sure others learned something from it as I did, both about a good optician and about the DTI.

    Why would I do that after I had ALREADY been to DTI and settled with them thought DTI's arbitration process?
